How Can Blood In Stool While Suffering From Ulcerative Colitis Be Treated?

My son he’s 38 years when he was 20 get ulcer of colitis .12 years he was in a mission now again starting three weeks ago let’s start the and he has Blood in he’s a stool , but he is in denial he doesn’t want to go to the doctor I don’t know what to do ?
