Hello,

By your history and description, we should definitely rule out heart and lung related diseases because both of them cause breathlessness and fatigue. So better to consult a doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring, ECG, 2d echo and stress test to rule out heart diseases.

Get done clinical examination of the respiratory system, chest X-ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out lung diseases. Treatment is based on diagnosis. So first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

General Surgeon Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel's  Response
Hi,

The short breath and fatigue can be from various issues as:
- Low hemoglobin
- Respiratory distress
- Deficiency of vitamins, minerals or else
- Other systemic illness affecting secondarily respiration as acid base disturbances
- Others

So ultimately, the management depends upon the root cause, after evaluation via X-ray chest, lab tests and so forth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
