How Can Bronchiectasis Be Treated?

I have bronchiectasis, I do postural drainage in my bed lying down. I cough & spit 2x a day for an hour each time. is there a better way. I spit in a cup, the mucus gets gets on my lips & face, & it is very irritated. do you have a better way for me ??? please let me know, thanks
