How Can Burning Sensation In The Throat After Taking Sertraline HCL Be Treated?

Hi I took a sertraline HCL and I don t think I drank enough water and now for the last hour in a half my throat has burned it feels like the worst acid reflex, the worst heartburn put together I don t know what to do, will it go away or should I go to hospital? Plead answer ASAP i don t know what to do thank you for your time. Fuck you Online doctors

Hi,

Cannot say in your particular case without actually being there. A minor problem would be generally fixed by taking an antacid and if the problem goes away then generally there won't be much benefit from going to an ER. And, there can be allergic reactions or irritation to the point of damage and this would require seeing a specialist.
