Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

What is her current weight? Normally a 6 month old baby should be atleast double of the birth weight. Babies normally double their birth weight at around 5 months of age.
First the cause of that lack of weight gain should be identified. If it is nutritional then giving extra calories in the diet will help. If it is not nutritional then the cause should be identified and treated. There are several causes for failure to gain weight. A physical examination followed by investigations are required to identify the cause.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
