Cold can be treated by taking steam, nasal drops, decongestants. Shortness of breath in pregnancy could be due to anemia, anemia needs to be checked and corrected.
Similarly, high BP needs to be checked and corrected. Shortness of breath in pregnancy is quite common due to the compression of a diaphragm by the growing baby and expanding uterus, prop up position, using extra pillows would help while sleeping.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. TALARI PAUL,
