How Can Diarrhea Be Treated?

hi iama 58 aa female had gallbladder removed in 2012 and having bad diarrhea taking dicylomine light turquoise pill to help ease it and taking immodime pill its getting a little worse it coming through where i have to wear protection. had a colonoscopy 2017 everything was fine. Can you please help me or tell me what i need to do.

Hi,

You need to check amylase and lipase (pancreatic enzymes that are responsible for fat absorption) and check elastasis fecalis in faeces. Thyroid function should be checked also.
