Hello.
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.

The chief treatment in loosemotions remains hydration.
A good hydration and maintenance of the electrolytes is the cornerstone of treatment.
It is a general rule that for every loosestool, a person needs approximately 200 ml fluid in addition to the volume lost.
So safe water intake with ORS is a part you need to add.

You have started Norflox TZ.
By the description of the query, you seem to be self medicating.
This is not recommended.
However, if you insist on doing so, please take the antibiotic for a complete course of at least 5 days and accompany its use with antacids like pantoprazole and B complex supplementation.

As for Loperamide. Yes, it can be used. However, do know the side effects of the medicine such as dizziness, drowsiness, tiredness, severe constipation, nausea and vomiting, stomach pain or uncomfortable fullness, fast or irregular heartbeat (manifest often as palpitations) and fainting. Occurrence of any of these should warn you to visit your doctor.

Add a probiotic to your therapy as well.

I hope this helps.
I recommend taking medications by a prescription of your local doctor.
Best wishes, Dr Mittal
