Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Diarrhea is quite common among infants and most often it is caused by viral illness like rota virus infection. As of now continue breastfeeding and take plenty of fluids also needed to prevent dehydration. In most cases, the frequency of loose stools will come down and it will settle by it own. If they develop symptoms like fever, vomiting, then we need to start him on antibiotics. You can consider rota viral vaccines to prevent future attacks of diarrhea.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
