How Can Diarrhea, Stomach Cramps And Fever Be Cured?

My son is away at college. He is on the 8th day of diarrhea. One day one he also vomited and had a fever and chills. Every time he had a episode of diarrhea. He also has stomach cramps. At the school health center they to him it was just a bug. I m not buying it. I m 9 hours away and worried about him.

Thanks for your query.
Read and understood that your son who at at college and 9 hours away from you have diarrhea, pain in abdomen, vomiting, fever and chills indicate that he may have an intestinal infection.
Since the School Health center is saying him to be suffering from bug, ask him to give stool for tests, and if infection is present, antibiotic will help.
Ask him to take soft bland diet, PPI like Omeprazole, activated charcoal tables and symptomatic OTC till he get the stool tests and proper antibiotic and other medication.
