How Can Difficulty In Urinating After A Hypospadias Repair Surgery Be Treated?

Hello My son had hypospadias surgery on 1st of june and now he has difficulty in urinating. He has to apply pressure and the urine is dripping drop by drop. The doctor said it can be swelling and has given some medicine but it is not getting better. What to do?

* As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests that there may be inflammation at the part operated with edema surrounding the urethra`s distal part.
* In our clinic, I recommend proper antibiotics according to urine culture, care of the local part with sterile dressing and hydration to prevent secondary bacterial infection for fastest recovery.
