Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query you have symptoms of earache and tinnitus which seems to be due to infection of internal ear and could be due to tympanic membrane perforation. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Take ibuprofen for pain and apply dry warm compresses on external ear.
- Maintain hygiene of ear canal.
- Avoid touching or pricking ear with sharp object.
- Do warm saline gargles.

You should consult ENT specialist once for proper checkup. Doctor may order blood tests along with tympanometery, high and low pitched sound test. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like Gentamicin along with anti-inflammatory medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
