Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Hyperhomocysteinemia as an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, dementia-type disorders, and osteoporosis-associated fractures. But combined folic acid and B-vitamin therapy substantially reduces homocysteine levels. End stage renal disease patients also may strongly associated with hyper homocysteine levels. Please consult your physician he will do follow up for homocysteine levels and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
