How Can Fever And Fatigue Be Treated?
Female 70 years , non diabetic , non hypertension. Fever for last 15 days , extreme weakness and loss of appetite. LFT done. Sgpt 102,. ALP 280. Albumin2.3 , bilirubin 1(T) . Sgot 75. Bilirubin (D) 0.9. What medication can I use? MP and widal negative.

Any h/o cough,vomiting ? What is the range of fever or weight loss? Any h/o chills with fever?, Any burning micturition? Get Urine R/m done, Xray chest required to look for Pneumonia or tuberculosis.Get your Blood haemogram done. To start treatment start IV DNS @25-30 drops/ min. Send blood for culture. Give empirical Inj Augmentin 1 gm BD . Inj Paracip 100 mi iv X 8 hrly. She will show improvement
