How Can Fever Be Treated While Suffering From Diabetes And Hypertension?
My mother is 80 years old she had multiple strokes
The last was in December 2016
She was in ventilator in hospital was given lots of steroids and antibiotics for infection in blood urine and lung
Doctors sent her home saying there is no hope and she may last only for a few hours
Alhamdulillah it's 20days she is on oxygen and her heart rate respiratory rate and saturation are normal she is still unconscious and has fever in the range of 100
She had a bypass 12 years ago she is diabetic and hypertensive
Is there any cure for her?

She has already been with all diagnostic work up and on medications.
What all can be done now is palliative care.
You can take help of palliative care team by consulting local NGOs of your area.
As she is unconscious,Nasogastric tube for nutrition and Foley"s catheter for urination are the support systems that can be used at home under instructions of health care provider.
Maintaining hygiene by regular sponging of body required.
All family members need to keep a positive outlook and maintain positive environment.
