How Can Foot Pain With Bruising Caused By Trauma Be Treated?
I was playing with my dog at the dog park n there was a ball . So I decided to kick it with the inside of my foot and not knowing it was a hard ball. It felt like a bowling ball going fast hurting the inside of my foot. I haven t been able to put pressure on it about a minute after I kicked it. It hurts to take off my shoe or put it on or let alone walk on it. Is it just badly bruised?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury your foot by hard ball . Your foot is badly bruised, it is hematoma formation. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself .Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. Icing is helpful. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
