How Can Foul Vaginal Odour Be Treated?

IM 16 and 249 pounds. My vagina gives off a smell even an hour after I shower to where I can smell it through my pants. I went to the gyno where they swabbed my vagina and looked at it under a microscope and said that it was a little yeast but it was normal amongst all females. They prescribed my fluconazole and an ointment. I still smell the smell and I don't discharge. I could go three days and not have discharge on my underwear. I feel that I have a dry vagina because I don't discharge normally. I use unscented dove body wash for sensitive skin down there and I don't know what to do. I'm really insecure about it and I need help. And no I am not sexually active.

Hello dear,my name is dr,Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Use 14-day cream, ointment, tablet, or suppository vaginal treatment.
-Use two or three doses of fluconazole (Diflucan)
-Use llong-term prescription of fluconazole (Diflucan) taken once a week for six weeks, or long-term use of a topical antifungal medication.
-Avoid using soap when cleaning the vaginal area-rinse with water only.
-If the genital area is swollen or painful, sitting in warm water
-Use pads instead of tampons while you are using nonprescription vaginal medicines. Tampons can absorb the medicine.
