How Can Hand Arthritis Be Treated?

I just read that the pea-sized cyst on between the tip of my middle finger and the first joint is probably hand arthritis. My job involves almost constant typing and it's starting to interfere. What treatment options (hopefully able to be completed quickly) are available to me?
