How Can Heavy Sensation On The Left Side Of The Head Be Treated?

Hello, for the past week I've felt a heaviness in the left side of my head. The heaviness is most profound when laying down and waking up in the morning, it feels like someone constantly has their hand on the side of my head or is pushing my head down. It doesn't hurt at all, it's just there. Also when I wake up I have terrible anxiety but I believe that is simply from worry. At first I thought it was a ear infection but now I am not sure. I'm 19 5'4 and weigh around 145. Is there anything I can do about this? Please help.

Hi,

It may be due to migranous headache or occipital neuralgia or cluster headache, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Left sinus infection or blockage may lead to head ache. Use tablet Naprosyn twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
