How Can Hiatal Hernia With Tremors, Back And Neck Pains Be Treated?

i was diagnosed with hiatal hernia about 3 months ago. I was given nexium 40 mg. what bothers me the most is the shaking I get along with pains in my back(between shoulder blades) and left side of the neck. I was told this is caused by the vagus nerve that passes next to the upper side of stomach. what shall i do?

Hello,

As per my clinical experience, this suggests possible neurologic compression at the cervical spine level. A hiatus hernia is not the culprit for the same.

In my clinic, I recommend MRI cervical spine for best evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
