General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern.

Hiccups is a sign of ingesting too much air. This can happen when:
- you eat too fast
- you eat or drink too much
- using straw when drinking

If you avoid eating too fast, and too much, avoid using straw and take antacid after meal, if this won't resolve your problem, then, I recommend to:
- consult further with gastroenterologist
- run upper endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound

Wish fast recovery.
