I have been diagnosed with Hyperekplexis, 62 yrs. female, My movements are usually under control, but come forward with stress, anxiety or for whatever reason. Meds I take are: clonazepam o.5mg., simvastatin 20 mg., and keppra 750 p/day. Involuntary movements, such as head tics, neck squeezing down to the left, feet moving even while standing, can I take an extra 250mg keppra? I have a nuerologist, but did not get an answer back other than go to the Emergency Room. Which I think is a waste of their time. I do lie down and relax, but when I get up, the movements are back. Email is YYYY@YYYY Thank you. I am also on Fenalaxine 300 per day for anxiety, and on Well Butron.
