How Can I Get Rid Of The Pain In Finger Joints?

Thank you. I am 40 years of age and have started getting pain in joints of fingers. More pronounced in mornings, with pain awaking me. Mother has Heberden's nodes but I thought I might be a bit too young. Wondering what I can do to prevent it progressing.

After going through query, my advice would be get yourself investigated for multiple joints(arthritis) .If the treatment started early the results are excellent and suffering can be reduced.I am sorry,but it can occur at any age.
