HELLO, THANX FOR USING HCM,
A 3 YEAR OLD GIRL CHILD SHOULD HAVE A HEALTHY WEIGHT OF 13- 15 KG WITH AVERAGE HEIGHT OF 91 - 97 CMS.YOU DIDNT MENTIONED THE EXACT WEIGHT.
Many children grow slightly above or below the standard values according to their age.you dont need to panic. Many kids avoid eating food , your actual talent lies in making them feed , presenting food in more attractive way they like.
Never force the child to feed one particular food.
Always give small quantities which the child can accept never over feed the child. Many mothers try to feed the child with adult serving quantities which a child cannot accept and ends up leaving meal .
Certain nutrition guidelines
Try varoius cereals like rice, chapathi, breads, oats porridge, ready to use fortified cereals like cornflakes.
Give your child good sources of protein which nourishes them to grow like fresh chicken without skin, lean meats, egg, dals, beans. but not the ones like processed meats Eg nuggets , hotdogs, burger meats.
Give your child lots of fruits and vegetables in the form of fresh juice, cut fruit, milk shakes, vegetable soup, steamed vegetables and salads ( but cutting indifferent shapes) .
Give 2-3 servings of milk in a day , each of 250 ml.
Encourage the child to play and keep him active.
