How Can Improper Self Touching And Stimulation Be Curbed?

Hi. I am from India, mother of a 6 year old. My kid(son) seems to have picked up the habit of rubbing his private parts for pleasure and he has been very consistently doing it at school. I have tried to tell him in so many ways that this behaviour is not acceptable in public places including school. However he is just unable to control himself and stimulates himself by rubbing against the desk in the classroom. This is really embarrassing for me as a mother when i go for PTA Meets and also I am worried for his bahaviour. Advice please

Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
First of all you need to tell him that what he is doing and feeling is normal. But only that it is not to be done in public. Its like bathing or going to toilet, which we do only in the privacy of our bathroom. Similarly this is a normal act but only to be done in the privacy of one's room or bathroom. Talking to him in a compassionate way and answering whatever questions he has in best possible way will definitely make him understand.
I hope I have helped you
Thank you
