How Can Intermittent Knee Pain Be Treated?

My question is about intermittent knee pain. It seems to be worse the less active I am. Goes away after I've walked about 30 minutes. Mostly inside lower portion of my right knee. There doesn't appear to be any swelling or tenderness. I'm a 68 year old male with no medical conditions aside from occasional asthma.

Hi,

Knee pain may be due to osteoarthritis. Use knee cap, avoid heavy weight lifting and using stairs. You may use leg strengthen exercises.

Use cold and hot compression. Use chondroitin sulfate and glycosaminoglycans orally. Use painkillers like Aceclofenac and Paracetamol twice a day for five days.

If you're renal failure patient, don't use this tablet. if symptoms not improved please get it an x-ray of your knee and then consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
