How Can Itching And Swelling In The Arm After A Wood Splinter Prick Be Treated?
I was poked deep in the knuckle joint with a needle like splinter of wood. it was from an old dusty garage. my arm up to the elbow started itching and the back of my hand is swollen. I am fairly sure that the splinter came out right after it happened
It is due to local inflammation. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. Make sure that no bits are retained in the site.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
