How Can Leg Spasms Be Treated?

I had transverse myelitis 4 yrs ago , and I follow up with my neurologist yearly. Lately I have been experiencing leg spasms in my left leg that have seemed to aggravate a muscle ( nerve?) that is between my torso and upper left leg. How do I relieve this?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

These painful spasms are likely to be due to nerve pressure or recovering nerve. Continue your treatment and if the spasms worsen then consult the neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel,
