How Can Lower Back Pain And Weakness Be Treated?

Hello, my name is Julie and I ve been experiencing lower back pain that s accompanied by leg weakness ( but not necessarily foot drop or heaviness). I ve been in pain for a while now, and the pain seems to be migrating in different places. I ve also been suffering from chronic abdomen pain in the front all over. I don t know what it is? I had heat exhaustion a little over 2 weeks ago and I had these problems but I recovered. Is it because of that? Or is it something else? Thanks!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello Julie, sorry to hear about your problems...when you say that you've been in pain "for a while" can you please be more specific? and can you be more specific concerning the leg weakness? - is it allover, or confined to certain muscles?

My initial investigation would be an MRI of your spine
