General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history about blocked nose which you feel is due to non-allergic rhinitis, Afrin is partially effective for some time only, wants to know further.
As pr the history you have mentioned there may be a cause which can be found out and thus can be treated specifically.
The possible causes can be as follows:
Nasal polypi.
Vasomotor rhinitis related to psychological status.
Hypertrophied turbinate.
Deviated nasal septum with associated conditions.
I would advise you the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon so that it nasal endoscopy may show many a things.
CT scan of nose and sinuses.
Relevant blood tests.
Counselling by an ENT Surgeon.
All these things will give a definite diagnosis hence a proper management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
