How Can One Cure Diarrhea, Swollen Stomach And Fever While Having A History Of Polyps?

I HAD A COLONOSPY ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY FOUND POLYOPS AND TO COME BACK IN 2 YEARS AND RECENTLY I HAVE HAD DIARRIAH FOR 5 TO 7 DAYS, MY BOWELS SEEMS TO CHANGE IN COLOR AND I FEEL FEVERISH AND MY STOMACH IS SO SWOLLEN THAT I LOOK 8 MONTHS PREGNANT. Hi,

Noted the history of polyps in colon on colonoscopy 5 years back.
This is probably not connected with diarrhea of recent origin.
It can be due to entero-colitis.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get the stool and blood samples tests done.
If there is any evidence of an intestinal infection then get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics and you will be fine.
Anyway it is time for review colonoscopy and biopsy along with CT scan of abdomen for review of polyps.
