How Can One Fight From Depression And Anxiety?

I recently lost my father and was diagnosed with situational depression and anxiety, i have had a cold now for 3 weeks, feeling lightheaded, lost over 20lbs, runny nose, and coughing. i am a smoker but this cough is dry and not producing much mucus. also have lower back pain and neck pain.

In case of situation depression, treatment includes antidepressant and benzodiazepine. I would suggest, duloxetine in his case. It would cover all symptoms like depression, anxiety as well as somatic complaints. Better to discuss about medications with a psychiatrist and in case, you need any help, you can ask.
