How Can Pain And Psoriasis On The Feet Be Treated?

My feet have been hurting badly lately. I am 60 years old and a hard worker. I m on my feet alot, always have been. It alternates between the heel , arch, ball and toes. The skin gets red and scaly at times too. Biopsies said psoriasis. The hurt is deep in the tissue and no one knows what s going on. What should I do? Would a ct or MRI help diagnose?

Hello,

The pain is due to arthritis secondary to psoriasis also known as psoriatic arthritis.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
