How Can Pain And Stiffness In The Left Knee Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with a frayed meniscus and received a shot of cortison and a gel shot a year ago. I still have stiffness and some soreness in my left knee. Should I go back to the doctor for another cortisone or gel shot as I am going on vacation soon and will be walking around somewhat more than usual.
