How Can Pain And Swelling In The Fingers Be Treated?

I had three fingers on my left hand amputated, about half of each finger, & its been about six months, give or take a week. I ve been having a lot of pain in them recently, past month to two months. I ve gotten better at using them & had only a little pain, but its getting worse & they even swell now. Ice helps with the swelling, but not with the pain. I have a desk job, so i m not over using then, but what should I do?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain in the amputated fingers can be a nerve related pain. Gabapentin and Methylcobalamin can help.

I hope this information has been helpful for you.
