I got my eyebrows waxed yesterday- huge mistake. I ve gotten them done over five times before and just had minor pain that s attributed to pulling out the hair but this time a different (and I soon found out, very inexperienced) lady did it. My eyelids stung after but I just chalked that up to the sting of the waxing process. Later that night, my eyes felt weird and stif but I thought maybe I just needed to sleep so I rested. I woke up the next morning (this morning) horrified to find thick strips of off yellow colored wax still present on my eyelids. Why she was waxing that low for an eyebrow treatment is beyond me. My eyelids hurt awfully so I tried hot water, cold compresses and baby oil as recommended by many throughout the day. Nothing worked. Now it is nighttime and my eyelids have wribkles across them still and I tried for hours literally to get the wax off with oil to no avail. I m at my wits end, I m only 17 and I know the eyelid skin is extremely sensitive. I m trying to get into the dermatoligist tomorrow but that wax will just not come off. Please help, I have a wedding in six days and I m scared my ugly red eyelids won t heal by then. Please please help me.
