How Can Pain In The Ankles Be Treated?

I m 18 years old. I was on top of a 1 story building in a school and I jumped down and landed hard on both my legs. I put more force on my right leg when I landed and I heard something pop I m not sure what popped but I heard something from my right leg pop both my ankles hurt a lot and I can t walk good. I limp walk trying to go to the restroom and when I sit down both my legs hurt a lot. Today I couldn t get any rest because my chest hurts a lot and I m have a lot of trouble turning my body, also I m having a little trouble breathing as I have to breathe heavily for I can gasp for air. My whole part from my left eye( I also see kind of blurry) to my back of my head hurts a lot. And I took some pain killer medication but the pain didn t go away.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should definitely consult doctor and get done x ray of both ankle and chest to rule out internal pathology.
Jumping down from height cause pressure on feet bones and ligaments.
In some cases sudden jerk can also damage lungs.
So get done chest x ray and ankle x rays.
If they are normal then no need to worry much.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas of ankle and chest.
Take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
