How Can Pain In The Finger Joints Be Treated?

after a long day of using my hands today, my distal inter-phalangeal joint of the middle finger on both hands really hurts :( I have been soaking them in epsom salt bath for an hour or so, but now I am considering hitting them (gently with a low force blow) using a rawhide mallet

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
