Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a question, I am presently on Lyrica 100 mg 3 times per day, I take Cymbalta 60 mg per day, and I am taking Tramadol 2 - 50 mg 3 times a day. I have pain in my lower legs, both feet, and hands. Would venlafaxine Effexor be any help, and would I need to reduce taking any of the above meds? Thanks for taking the tiime to answer. My email address is: YYYY@YYYY
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Venlafaxine oral tablet is a prescription drug used to treat depression and anxiety. It is not a medication that is prescribed for pain so it would not be a substitute for any of the medications mentioned above.
