How Can Pain In The Knees Be Treated?

I am 69 will be 70 in 4 weeks, have been a TBI survivor for the past 42 years, while living in Payson, Utah from 2009 to 2015 I began having falls on my brand new knee replacement I had in Utah. I left Utah and now I live in Lincoln Nebraska for the last 2 years and I am having aches just like I had before my replacements. Does it mean I will need to have 2 more knee placements again Cathie Kurek as YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

The causes for pain after post knee replacement are:

1. Loosening or wearing of the implant
2. Infection
3. Patellofemoral problems
4. Alignment problem et cetera

Please consult your orthopedician, he will examine for the cause and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
