How Can Pain In The Left Shoulder Be Treated?

In 2009 I was diagnosed with a chronic tear of the anti labrum left shoulder. I worked around it and it healed. I have now hurt the right shoulder. it hurts in the meat of muscle at about half way down the outside of the shoulder. Almost similar to the Albrum tear of 2009. I get relief when I lift my shoulder straight over my head and especially when I press weights over my head. it bothers me when i lift with a straight arm out to the side.

Hi,

You can go for an MRI scan to assess the severity of the injury. You can consult an orthopedics and get yourself evaluated, you might require an arthroscopic repair probably.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
