How Can Pain In The Lower Abdomen Be Treated?

I have been taking Turmeric Curcumin for osteoarthritis, but I have started having difficulty with my bowels...sludge-like stools...also left lower quadrant pain. In addition, I have a history of uterine cancer...did not realize that it could have estrogen like effects. I was told not to take any estrogen product after my hysterectomy.
