How Can Pain Under The Knee Due To An Injury Be Treated?

Good Day Drs. I fell down a short set of stairs @ a hotel pool area.. Injured my right leg. Under my knee...had x-rays at ER, no broken bones or knee cap..12 stiches, healing very nicely, ? What ointment should I use for the discoloration? still hurts, not much..(Pain level is a 4)...

Hi,

You were having wound formation due to injury and so stitches have been taken. You can apply Neosporin ointment over that of wound is healed. There is no need for using other cream.

The minor scar will certainly occur as wound formation was there. But with time scar will fade by itself.
