How Can Painful Anal Fissure Be Treated?

Hi...I have fissure problem since 3mnths. I feel a sharp pain for few seconds in every couple of hours. I have been following fibrous diet drink plenty of water ,take sitz bath twice a day, apply anobliss in the area? Still it s not recovering. What should I do? Please advise.

Hi,

The lifestyle you are following is good for controlling the recurrence of an acute problem. Pain & inflammation is indicated by the severity of symptoms.

You should start taking stool softeners like Vremmafinto avoid repeated irritation of fissure due to hard stools. Specific antibiotic & anti-inflammatory drugs should've started to control inflammation & infection according to treating doctors advise. So an expert opinion of a proctologist along with all the care you are already taking would help.
