I am a healthy 23 year old women. I visited a gynecologist to start birth control, I will be getting married April 7,2017. (First time on birth control) She prescribed TriNessa. I started the first pill January 14th (first day of period) I have taken them everyday as directed. Towards the end of my first pack (reminder pills) I started my "period" February 7th. Now, I have to start a new pack. So, I was calculating and it seems to be that I will be getting my "period" on my wedding. I wanted to know if there is any way I can push my period back or what can I do to avoid my period for the week of my wedding.
You can start a new pack once the last tablet is over. Then you won't get periods till you stop the tablets and chances of pregnancy is also not there.
I mean normally you take 21 days tablets, once the last tablet is over, you wait for periods and from 4th day of periods you start the new pack. Now, once 21 tablets are over, you start one more new pack and take it for 21 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
