Persistent cold in infant seems to be due to wheeze associated lower respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to visit pediatrician once and get it examined completely like throat swab test a, blood test and get X-ray chest done. Start treatment after proper examination. Start treatment after proper diagnosis is made out. Till then take proper course of antibiotics to you. Take steam inhalation , which will be very helpful. Avoid giving child any cold carbonated beverages. Avoid giving any outside food to child.
