How Can Persistent Constipation Problems, Without Any Other Discomfort, Be Treated?
Hi! My husband is having problems moving his bowels.. He is 82 years old with no previous problems. He is only on cholesterol meds. This past week he has felt constipated and has been eating prunes, taking a fiber supplement. He has had several small BMs this morning, some hard but then some fairly soft. He has been drinking several cups of warm, or hot, tea with no results. This is not normal for him. He is in no pain anywhere! He still feels like he needs to go to the toilet. We were going on a trip this morning for a few days, now he is not sure! Can you help?
Tea does not relieves constipation instead it promotes constipation. Its good to have dietry fibres in diet. Just avoid junk food and white floor. For one time relief from constipation use laxoberone or duphalac and then prevent it by careful , healthy diet.
