How Can Red And Itchy Rashes On The Back And Arms Be Treated In An 85-year-old?

I am an 85 year old female and after working in my yard I have developed a very red itchy rash on my back, arms and rear end. I have never had an issue before and I was wearing long pants. I am using Sarna lotion for itching, is there anything I could take orally that would help. Thanks

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to contact dermatitis.

I recommend using Benadryl daily for relief.

I also recommend using Calamine lotion for local application and relief.
