How Can Residual Leg Pain After Burn, Blistering And Scabbing Be Treated?

My husband got sunburned 7 days ago on the back of his legs. The burn was blistered and had a large pool of fluid right below the skin. It has since busted and left the back of his knee with a nasty brown/black scab. He now cannot walk due to the pain. Any suggestions on what to do?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your husband got burn which healed with a scab. Now it is painful when he walk. He can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. At the site of scab you can apply ointment betadine two times a to prevent it from get infected. Vitamin B and C are helpful in healing process. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
