How Can Severe Emphysema Be Treated?

blood pressure sitting 140-74-81. male 75. just getting over pneumonia started 3 weeks ago. Has mod- sevre emphasema. has blue ish color on left hand thumb and first finger with 2 small darker blue spots in middle finger and thumb. Normally blood pressure 130-70-70 when not sick. Heart beat been running 82-83 last few nights. Under doctors care both at Veterans Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital Boston. Have follow up appointments next week w ith both PCP & pulmonary.
